rough draft  inspiration  final draft Description: In this piece i decided to do the quote “every rose has its thorns just like every night has its dawn”. i did the words thorn and dawn in a bold font and the rest of the words a less bold cursive font. the background is radiant from dark to light. for the visuals representing the quote i drew rose thorns on a stem with a rose petal to the left. For the night part of the quote i drew a moon with stars to the left of that, and a rising sun representing dawn. analysis: one principle of design in the piece is emphasis. there is emphasis on the quote because it is darker and more bold than the background and so is the lettering. there is also contrast between the light and dark of the background . there is more contrast also between the subjects of the piece where it’s more of a dark and sad subject then it turns into a light and happy subject. interpretation: this piece symbols that everything bad in love wi...

Rough draft/Reference Pictures inspiration-Artist Reference  Jeff Koons -Jeffrey Koons is an American artist known for working with popular culture subjects and his reproductions of banal objects, such as balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror-finish surfaces. He is he artist who created the balloon dog sculpture. I took his balloon sculpture and created my own version of it creating a giraffe like balloon animal. Final piece My final piece is a orange balloon giraffe. The balloon giraffe is bouncing on balloon flowers with balloon clouds in the sky. I colored the flowers pink and green and the clouds grey. There is a reflection on all of the balloon drawings to help the drawings look more like balloons. One principe of design i used in this piece is emphasis.
